Public funds are told to be numerous - only in Germany there should be more than 700 different sources (conservative estimation) where enterprises could get such "gifts in money" (or equivalents).

The tools are different - one could get part-financing, or cheapens loans, or investment in an associate, or public guarantees or maybe also a mix of such instruments.

And - to be clear - the rules are made by whom who pays. So please be aware of certain restrictions and get ready for paper-warfare!
